Emily Fesmire Jenkins

I am a child of God, wife of 6 years to Brooks, and mommy to Carter (3) and Jake (2). In August of 2009, I came across some friends talking about moneysavingmom.com on facebook. I went to the site and read and read and read. All night y'all. I read all night and was in awe that you could use coupons to get stuff for free or really cheap. I did my first deal at CVS and have been hooked ever since. Through saving money on toiletries and groceries and paying off debt, Brooks and I saw it as being financially okay for me to leave my job. I resigned my position as a teacher in May of 2010 and now get to enjoy days watching my boys grow!

God gave me a servant's heart and I kept praying about what He wanted me to do with coupons. I began to share what I knew with whoever asked and sometimes I shared because I thought someone needed to know. My sister and I decided to create this site to post the how to's of couponing so others can be better stewards of the money He provides. Several other ideas are brewing to make a local impact through different community missions. Stay tuned!
