I got some things at Rite Aid tonight and I wanted to share the how-tos. First off..couponing takes time, especially at first-to learn the ropes- then it becomes second nature. I still take the time to plan my list though, and write how much OOP I think I should be spending so that the transaction goes as smoothly as possible. Registers can be wrong so you must DOUBLE CHECK! (happened today actually at Walgreens)
For those wondering about the Rite Aid deals, here's how:
First, I did 2 transactions...
transaction 1: 4 John Frieda Root Awakening Hair Care $20.00
used $2/10 March Beauty VV
used $2/10 April Beauty VV
used $1.00 off Wellness (from watching VV)
used$6.99 in UpR
Total: $0.01 plus tax and got back $10 in UpR
transaction 2: 2 Powerade $1.97
1 Amo Complete $7.99
4 Snickers Eggs $2.00
1 Visine 9.99 (just realized I got twin pack) buy $4.99 one for a better deal
3 Fabric Softeners $2.97
Subtotal $24.92
Coupons Used- $3/15 survey coupon
- $2/1 in-ad coupon for Visine
- $2/2 Mars Candy (April All You)
- $10 UpR from John Frieda (above)
Total OOP = $4.44 plus tax (got back $4.00 in UpR for next time)
Submit Amo Complete $7.99 for SCR
Total OOP for both transactions including tax $7.02 (that's a 0.97 Money Maker after SCR)
Still dont get it? See Lingo
