Food for Thought Sundays-What's Truly A Good Deal?

You see it all the time...advertised prices that are hardly a bargain! But what is a good price for the things we buy and use on a day to day basis?  I've made a list of things that we all buy and use with a price that is good for our area. I have determined this list by following trends over the last 2 years and by actually buying these items in our area over that period of time.

Please note: There are times when I have gotten the item cheaper than the listed price.  I just called those "little specials" and take them at that and move on.  Just because you got it at that price one time doesn't mean it will happen again and again.  Remember Sobe's BOGO promotion last September and CVS's BOGO sales?  Awesome, Yes.  And I got a boat load of them those 2 months too.  But I have some in my refrigerator now that I got at $0.46 each and I still consider that a good price.

Prices listed are good buys for our area.  Obviously, if you can get it for less than the listed price, do so!
